Ina Hagenau

Ina Hagenau (* 1982 in Düren ) is a singer and lecturer for pop and jazz singing at the city music school in Düren. Together with her sister Astrid she runs the institute for voice work called “Stimmste ?!”.

After graduating from high school at Rurtalgymnasium , Ina Hagenau studied jazz and pop singing at the Artez Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem (NL) and has since worked as a musician and lecturer in the Rhineland . She made her debut with her quartet i.na in 2009 with the album "distance". In addition to Hagenau, the band includes Stefan Michalke (piano, accordion, Fender Rhodes), BenTai Trawinski (double bass) and Sebastian Bauer (drums, percussion).

For Ina Hagenau there are no genre boundaries , she prefers to mix jazz , pop , rock and world music into a very personal mix that shines a new light on standards or pop songs that are often heard. Her own compositions are personal, little stories that, interpreted with imagination and atmosphere, give everyday life a playful touch. Ina Hagenau is a flexible musician who shows many facets both on stage and in the studio , thanks to her experience in various line-ups, from acoustic duos to salon orchestras and a cappella to big bands .

Ina Hagenau runs the company Stimmste !? with her sister Astrid. .
