Ines Lex

Ines Lex (* 1981 in Backnang ) is a German opera, operetta and concert singer with a lyrical soprano voice .

Live and act

After graduating from the Max-Born-Gymnasium Backnang , Ines Lex studied singing with Ulrike Sonntag and Thomas Pfeiffer at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts . From September 2003 to 2004 she was a student with Elizabeth Ritchie at the Royal Academy of Music London . Ines Lex attended master classes with Ingrid Figur , Christine Schäfer , Edith Wiens and at the International Bach Academy Stuttgart with Klesie Kelly .

From 2007 to 2010 Ines Lex was a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Innsbruck . There she sang among others Najade ( Ariadne auf Naxos ), Zdenka ( Arabella ), Lisa ( Countess Mariza ), Tuptim ( The King and I ), Marie ( Zar and Zimmermann ) and, in the current revival in 2009, Eliza in My fair Lady . She has been a member of the ensemble at the Halle Opera House since the 2010/2011 season .

The artist's repertoire of roles also includes Susanna ( Figaro's wedding ), Woglinde ( Das Rheingold ), Musetta ( La Bohème ) and Teofane ( Ottone ).

Ines Lex achieved notoriety through her appearances in the historical city theater Weissenhorn with the role of Eve in the comic opera Die Schwäbische Schöpf or Adam and Eve's creation and her fall by Sebastian Sailer . In addition, she works as a song, concert and oratorio singer in German-speaking countries, and worked with conductors Helmuth Rilling and Roger Norrington . As part of the European Music Festival, Ines Lex was a soloist in Bach's A major Mass, conducted by Klaus Breuninger , Bach's Mass in B minor , conducted by Helmuth Rilling, at concerts in the Berlin Philharmonic , in Essen and in the Thomaskirche in Leipzig . Her participation in Handel's oratorio Israel in Egypt in November 2007 in Stuttgart together with the Stuttgarter Kantorei attracted attention .
