Inga Abel

Inga Abel (born July 7, 1946 in Düsseldorf ; † May 27, 2000 there ) was a German actress .

Life

Abel learned ballet and figure skating from the age of eight . From the age of 17 to 19 she was a semi-soloist at the Wiener Eisrevue. She then took acting lessons in her hometown of Düsseldorf and was engaged, among other things, at the Comedy Frankfurt , the Theater am Dom in Cologne and the Schlosshoftheater in Moers . She became known for her role as Dr. Eva-Maria Sperling in the WDR series Lindenstrasse , which she played for eight years. At RTL- Radio Luxemburg , Abel and Hugo-Egon Balder presented the lunchtime program Meal .

In the carnival session in 1975 Abel was next to Prince Jupp I (Josef Steinhausen) the Venetia Inga I in her hometown of Düsseldorf (motto: "Children, how time flies"). Because of her distinctive voice, she also worked as a voice actress from the late 1980s. Abel died of breast cancer on May 27, 2000 .
