Inge Kazamel (born July 23, 1928 in Hamburg ) is a German SPD politician and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Born in Hamburg, Inge Kazamel attended various schools in Güstrow in Mecklenburg from 1935 to 1945 . After her family returned to Hamburg, Kazamel worked for two and a half years as a student nurse in Wintermoor and in Rissen . She then attended a private business school and from then on worked in the commercial field. From 1985 to 1997 she was a managing partner as an employee of the “Jugenderholungswerk Hamburg eV”. Then she went into professional retirement. She is married and has a daughter (* 1949).

politics

She has been a member of the SPD since 1972 and, as a local politician, sat in the Hamburg-Nord district assembly from 1978 onwards . First she was elected chairman of the youth welfare committee there. After the state elections in 1982, she became the parliamentary group chairman of the core area committee and thus a member of the parliamentary committee.

In 1983 she moved up as a member of the Hamburg parliament. For several electoral terms until 1993 she worked for the SPD parliamentary group in the Committee on School, Youth and Vocational Training and in the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs.

Even after she left the after-work parliament, she continued to work on a voluntary basis as chairwoman of the Spielhaus Alsterdorf association - association for children's and youth leisure .
