Ingelsberg is a district of the municipality of Zorneding in the district of Ebersberg in Bavaria , administrative district of Upper Bavaria.

history

In 1908 and 1912, row graves were discovered which indicate an early settlement of today's Ingelsberg, north of Zorneding, and which are dated to the 5th to 8th centuries. "Ingoltesperc" was first mentioned in a document in 1156 in the Falkensteiner Codex . The Counts of Falkenstein were fief takers of the Counts of Andechs , whose almost complete possession passed to the Wittelsbachers in 1208 . In 1230 three farms are documented. Duke Ludwig II donated two farms to the Fürstenfeld monastery in 1266 . The Ebersberg monastery became the landlord of the third court . In 1344 the Beyharting monastery is also named as the landlord. In 1450 Ingelsberg consisted of nine properties.

From the Thirty Years War until the 19th century, the place did not grow any further due to wars, bad harvests and epidemics. As a result of secularization at the beginning of the 19th century, the electorate of Bavaria initially became the owner of the farms. The farmers had the opportunity to take over the farms themselves, but this was often difficult due to the economic situation.

In 1893 a water pipe was laid in Ingelsberg, which was connected to the central supply in 1968. It was not connected to the power grid until 1922. In the course of the municipal reform , Ingelsberg and Pöring were incorporated into the Zorneding municipality in 1978.

chapel

The Ingelsbergers decided in 1864/65 to build their own chapel , which they built themselves. Today's monument is a neo-Gothic, plastered one-room room with a strongly recessed polygonal end and an easterly ridge turret .
