Ingild Janda-Busl

Ingild Janda-Busl (born 1941 in Neubistritz as Ingild Janda ) is a German author and nurse practitioner.

Life

Janda-Busl received his doctorate from the Medical Faculty of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg . Today she lives in Bamberg and has written several publications on the history of the Jews , in particular on Jews in the Upper Palatinate region. According to her own statement, it is important to give the victims of National Socialism a face.

She was married to the Tirschenreuth district home nurse Franz Busl, who died in 2016 .

In 1991, the city of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate gave the couple the borderland tower in Bärnau , which was built in 1913 by the study professor Franz-Xaver Mayer († 1923) and, after the renovation, has been a listed building since August 4, 1992 , and which the couple lived in and also as before moving to Bamberg Used the backdrop for the jointly organized series of events “Concerts at the Tower”. Janda-Busl was honored with a monument medal for her efforts to preserve the tower. The tower was purchased by the city of Bärnau in 2009 as a striking landmark and is looked after by the festival association.
