The Erich-Weiß-Verlag (spelling without hyphens) is a publishing house based in Bamberg , which was founded in 1991. In addition to general fiction, special series on and by visual artists and radio plays , the publishing house focuses on topics related to Bamberg and Upper Franconia and Judaica .

Foundation and publishing program

The publishing house was founded in 1991 by Erich Weiß. The publishing program includes fiction , photography , poetry and occasional sound carriers . There are also publications on and by visual artists such as the sculptor Beate Schroedl , the artist group “ Das Institut ” around Hubert Sowa , Friedolin Kleuderlein , Bernhard Kümmelmann and Tom Eisen , which was awarded the Volker Hinniger Prize in 1992 , or the retrogradist Adalbert Hoesle .
