Ingmar Brandsch

Ingmar Brandsch (born November 28, 1936 ) is a former Romanian German MP ( DFDR ) in the Romanian Chamber of Deputies during the 1990/92 legislative period. The high school teacher entered parliament on the list of minorities for the Sibiu district .

Life

Ingmar Brantsch studied German , Romance and Slavic studies at the University of Bucharest as well as history , philosophy , Protestant theology and pedagogy at the University of Cologne .

In addition to his activities as an editor and librarian in Bucharest , high school teacher in his native Kronstadt , graduate student in Cologne , he wrote numerous short stories, satires, reports, essays, aphorisms, poems, dramas and radio plays.

Ingmar Brantsch is a member of the Romanian Writers' Association , belongs to the PEN Center for German-Speaking Authors Abroad , the Association of German Writers , the Literary Society Cologne .

In 1968 Brantsch received the Poetry Prize of the Junge Akademie Stuttgart and in 1987 the Siegburg Literature Prize. He teaches in the branch office of the evening grammar school in Cologne in the prison in Cologne for young people willing to rehabilitate.
