Ingo Kantorek (born September 15, 1974 in Lehrte-Ahlten near Hanover ; † August 16, 2019 near Sindelfingen ) was a German amateur actor and model .

Life

Kantorek initially worked as a model , including in 2007 for a calendar by the photographer Silke Drechsler. He gained fame through his participation in the reality soap opera Cologne 50667 on the TV station RTL II . Since the beginning of the series he has been part of the permanent cast and played the lead role of Alex Kowalski . In October 2015 he took a break from filming to move with his family from Hanover to Cologne .

In 2015 he moderated the Tattoomenta in Kassel.

Kantorek supported an Animals United anti-fur campaign and got involved with aid organizations, including the “People in Need” group. He was also the initiator of the music project "Freedom" supported by Prince Amaho , Mola Adebisi , Gerald Asamoah , Nelson Müller and other celebrities, the proceeds of which were donated to social institutions.

On the night of August 16, 2019, Ingo Kantorek and his wife Suzana, whom he married in 2000, had a fatal accident in a traffic accident at the A8 rest area Sommerhofen Nord near Sindelfingen .
