Ingrid Heckner

Ingrid Heckner (born July 31, 1950 in Heldenstein ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ). From 2003 to 2018 she was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament and during this time, among other things, she was Deputy Chair of the CSU parliamentary group in the Bavarian State Parliament.

education and profession

After graduating from the specialist academy, Ingrid Heckner attended the University of Education and trained as a specialist teacher . After graduating, she worked as a vocational school teacher. From 1989 to 2003, Heckner was the main staff councilor in the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture.

MPs

From 2003 to 2018 Ingrid Heckner was a directly elected member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the district of Altötting ( constituency of Upper Bavaria ). In her first election she received 66.8 percent of the first vote, in 2008 she was re-elected with 45.4 percent. In the state elections in 2013 she received 49.9 percent of the vote.

Political offices

After moving into the Bavarian State Parliament, Heckner became a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport and a member of the Committee on Public Service Issues. From 2008 to 2017, the deputy chaired the latter committee and was a member of the board of the CSU parliamentary group. In February 2017 she was elected deputy chairman of the parliamentary group with 97 percent of the vote.

Party offices

Ingrid Heckner has been a member of the CSU since 1988 and is active there in many board positions. She has been the CSU district chairman since 2000 and a member of the CSU district committee since 1989. Since 1996 she has been a district councilor in the Altötting district council . From 1996 to 2009, Heckner was a councilor in her home town of Kastl, and from 1996 to 2008 she was chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group.

Heckner is also active in the associations and working groups of the Union, for example since 1991 as deputy district chairwoman of the Mittelstands-Union , from 1993 to 2005 as deputy district chairwoman of the women's union and from 1995 to 2005 a member of the state executive committee of the women's union. Since 2004 she has been deputy state chairman of the working group “School, Education and Sport” of the CSU and head of the technical committee for vocational schools. She is a member of the Union's economic advisory board.

Other offices

Ingrid Heckner was deputy state chairwoman of the Association of Teachers at Vocational Schools from 1989 to autumn 2003. She has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the European Academy of Bavaria since 2008, and has been Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences since 2012 . She has also been a full member of the Bavarian Rural Academy since 2012 . In December 2013 she was elected Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Bavarian State Foundation .

Family and private

Ingrid Heckner is Roman Catholic, married and the mother of three children. She has been the holder of the Bavarian Order of Merit since December 17, 2014, and the Constitutional Medal in Silver from the Bavarian State Parliament since February 1, 2019 .
