Ingrid Kriegelstein (born July 9, 1938 in Kiel ) is a former German table tennis player . She was one of the best German players in the 1960s. In 1964 she became German individual champion.

She started playing table tennis at the Kirchbarkau club and later went to TSV Gaarden. In 1956 she won the German Mixed Youth Championship (with Peter Czichowski). In 1961 she moved to TTK Grün-Weiß in Kiel, where she still plays actively today. In the same year she became German team champion with this club. The team repeated this success in 1964. In between, they won the team cup in 1963.

In the national ranking tournament she was first in 1963 and second in 1965. She took part in the German championships several times . In 1964 she became German champion in singles in Siegen, in 1966 she won the title in doubles together with Edit Buchholz . In 1963 and 1965 she took second place in a mixed with Eberhard Schöler .

Between 1963 and 1966 she made 7 international matches. She took part in world championships twice. At the 1963 World Cup in Prague , she finished 9th with the women's team, and 6th in Ljubljana in 1965. At the 1966 European Championship , she finished 6th with the women's team.

At the beginning of 1966, Kriegelstein married the table tennis player of TSV Gaarden Hans-Jürgen Bahnert. Since then she has performed under the name Ingrid Bahnert .

In 1970 and 1973 she won the German Cup with Kiel . With the squad from Schleswig-Holstein, she won the German Cup in 1970 and 1972 . In 1973 she and Ev-Kathleen Zemke from Oberalster VfW were once again able to become German runner-up in women's doubles, and a year later they both won the bronze medal at the German championships. In 1975 Bahnert was honored because she had been represented at all North German championships since 1960.
