Ingrid Raddatz

Ingrid Raddatz (* 29. December 1943 in Landsberg am Lech as Ingrid Pahler ) is a German politician of the FDP .

Life and career

After Raddatz passed her Abitur at a secondary school, she studied at the Landau University of Education , where she successfully completed the first and second teaching examinations for elementary and secondary schools. From 1966 to 1996 she worked as a teacher. After her time in the state parliament, she moved to the Pedagogical Center in Bad Kreuznach , where she acted as a consultant for migration, intercultural education and language training.

In 2009 Raddatz took over the post of treasurer of the association of former members of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament. She has been the district chairwoman of the European Union since 2011 . She is the mother of two children.

Raddatz performed various functions within the FDP. From 1989 to 1994 and again since 2004 she sat on the city council of Ingelheim am Rhein . From 1994 she was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in the Mainz-Bingen district assembly . In 1996 she was elected to the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament, to which she belonged for an electoral term until 2001. During this time she took over the post of deputy group chairman.
