Ingrid Ryland (born May 29, 1989 in Kaland , Norway ) is a Norwegian soccer player who most recently played for IL Sandviken and from 2010 to 2018 with interruptions for the Norwegian national women's soccer team .

Career

Ryland took part in 2007 with the U-19 team at the U-19 European Championship in which Norway lost 3-0 to England in the semi-finals. But it was only used in the first game in a 5-0 win against Iceland. However, Norway had qualified for the U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile in 2008 , where it was used in all three group matches. As third in the group, Norway could not qualify for the quarter-finals. In 2008 it was enough for second place at the U-19 European Championship . In 2009 she took part in the Nordic Cup with the U-23 team and took third place.

On October 26, 2010, she made her first A international match in the last international match of the year. In 2011 she took part in the Algarve Cup with Norway and was appointed as one of the last two players in the squad for the 2011 World Cup in Germany. In the preliminary round from the Norwegian team, it was not used. She was part of the squad for the 2013 European Championship , but only made a brief appearance in the quarter-final match against Spain when she was substituted on in the 81st minute. For the following World Cup qualifiers, she was called up again but initially not used. At the Algarve Cup 2014 she was substituted on for the last 20 minutes in the 1: 3 defeat against Germany. In June she came on as a substitute in the 6-0 win against Greece in the World Cup qualifying for the second half. Then she had to wait until January 2018 for another mission and was then used in the three games at the Algarve Cup 2018 . These were her last internationals.
