action
In Buenos Aires during the 2014 World Cup . Sergio Garces, who so far has only been in front of the camera for dirty films, wants to make it into the real film world, but so far he has only had a few minor supporting roles. Those in their mid-fifties have a penchant for sitting around in their underwear, smoking bongs, and drinking too much. He also has a problem keeping his anger in check. When he beats someone up in the heat of the moment after a bicycle accident, he is sentenced to probation and sentenced to anti-aggression training.
Around the same time, he met the American film director Jane, who was into this type of man. So it is fitting that Sergio resembles the famous French actor Serge Gainsbourg in his appearance and overall demeanor , whom he emulated. He even covered a Gainsbourg album at a time when he was more famous and released it under the pseudonym Initials SG. But bad luck haunts him these days and somehow he has to get rid of the body of a drug dealer he murdered.

Reviews
Lorry Kikta from Film Threat writes that even if Sergio looks like other antiheroes from stoner movies at first glance , like Jeffrey Lebowski from The Big Lebowski , he is not as good-natured as The Dude , even if the tone of Initials SG Kikta reminds of Joel Coen's film . There's an omniscient narrator, and a lot of crazy things happen to Sergio that he can't get along with. It is also worth mentioning that the film is set during the World Cup when Argentina played against Germany, because Sergio and all of Argentina are hyped for Argentina to win. Sergio in particular feels personally attached to the win as he believes that if the team is playing well, he'll do it and vice versa. The names of the two protagonists, Sergio and Jane, are no coincidence either, not only because of Serge Gainsbourg , but also because of Jane Birkin . Kikta also describes Buenos Aires as a separate character in the film. In Initials SG passing so much, and everything hang together somehow, so that one could look away for a second. The way in which Rania Attieh and Daniel Garcia put so much action, drama and exhilaration into a 90-minute film is really masterful, says Kikta, and their script is incredible and just awesome.
