action

The film is set in the village of Nomen Tuum (Latin: "Your Name"), where there is a source that can heal the sick and make people more beautiful. That is why many vain or corrupt individuals come to the village to be beautified. The village enjoys notoriety both for its magical waters and as a place for darkness and demons . Succubi lure the corrupt souls who come after the noun Tuum to lead them to death and to offer their souls to the god of darkness in hell. The well-known young succubus Kia detests hell for her job of leading sinners there. Kia claims that her powers are being wasted and that she needs something more stimulating than booty. Her sister, the succubus Amael, warns her of the danger that a pure soul brings with it: love. Kia sticks to her plan and tries to find a clergyman to seduce her into the dark. However, after observing the clergy's behavior, she finds that these men are just as guilty and wise as their previous victims.

She soon finds a suitable victim. The young soldier Marc comes to the holy water with his sister Arndis to heal his battle wounds. Kia pursues the two siblings and pretends to be lost. After a brief solar eclipse , Kia convinces Marc to accompany her to the sea. During the solar eclipse, Arndis goes blind because she looked at the sky. She stumbles around disoriented to find Marc. Marc and Kia quickly feel drawn to each other.

Marc doesn't want to have closer ties with Kia until they are married. When Kia sleeps, Marc takes her to the village church. Kia flees the church because she is confused by the sight of Christ and the saints. She feels repulsed by both the Christian characters and Marc's pure love, and his purity makes her sick.

Amael and Kia contemplate revenge on Marc who contaminated Kia with his act of love. Amael conjures up an incubus that tries to kill Marc and rapes and murders Arndis. When Marc prays for his sister, he makes the sign of the cross, and the lurking demons shrink from horror. He fights against the incubus attack and appears to have killed him. Amael tells him that Marc committed murder. Kia follows the dying Marc into the church. There she confesses her love for him. The resurrected Incubus intervenes and claims that she belongs to the god of darkness. Kia defies him and, to her own surprise, makes the sign of the cross. The incubus then turns into a billy goat and wrestles her to the ground.

After the fight, she claims to belong to the god of light and crawls towards Marc, who hugs her. The final scene shows the couple staring in disbelief at the perimeter of the church while the billy goat stares back at them.
