Inninger Bach between Bachern and Inning |
The Inninger Bach is the approximately 6 km long outflow of the Wörthsee in Upper Bavaria .
course
The Inninger Bach begins in the northwest of the Wörthsee near the Mausinsel . It flows through the Bachern district of Inning in a north-westerly direction, through a roughly 25-meter-deep breakthrough valley between Kühberg and Schmauzbühl, through a lateral moraine of the former Isar-Loisach glacier and further north through Inning, crosses under the A96 federal motorway and finally flows into the Amper. The last 300 meters it flows through the Ampermoos nature reserve ( NSG-00168.01 ).
Character and environment
The Inninger Bach initially forms the small marina of the Wörthsee in Bachern and then flows relatively naturally until shortly before Inning. Above the Obermühle, south of Inning, a mill channel is diverted and on the southern outskirts of Inning the Inninger Bach feeds a pond within a small park. Within the Inninger local area, the Inninger Bach is channeled and partially built over. In the lower reaches of the Inninger Bach again has a largely natural character, especially in the area of the Ampermoos nature reserve.
