Innovation award from the state of Baden-Württemberg
The Innovation Prize of the State of Baden-Württemberg - Dr. Rudolf Eberle Prize has been awarded annually since 1985 to small and medium-sized companies from industry, trade and technological services based in Baden-Württemberg for exemplary performance in the development of new products, processes and technological services Services or the application of modern technologies in products, production or services.
history
At the suggestion of the Minister for Economics, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Technology, Rudolf Eberle , the state government decided on October 22, 1984 to award an innovation prize to small and medium-sized companies. The title "Innovation Prize of the State of Baden-Württemberg - Dr. Rudolf Eberle Prize -" is a reminder of the services he has earned as Minister of Economics, particularly for medium-sized businesses.
Prize money totaling 50,000 euros and certificates will be awarded. In addition, the MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg GmbH regularly awards a special prize as part of the state competition in the amount of 7,500 euros, which is aimed specifically at young companies.
The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance and Economics has commissioned the Stuttgart Regional Council with the organizational implementation. A prize committee decides on the award of the prize. It evaluates the competition entry according to the following criteria:
- Technical progress
- Special entrepreneurial achievement
- Economic success
The application must meet all three criteria. The State Minister for Finance and Economy announces the winners and awards the prizes in a public event.
