Interclubs 2012/13
The Interclubs 2012/13 was the Belgian team championship in chess.
The champion was last year's climber Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld , who relegated L'Echiquier Amaytois to second place with the same number of team points thanks to the better score on the board . The defending champion Cercle des Echecs de Charleroi had to be content with ninth place. Due to a withdrawal, three teams were promoted in the previous year, in addition to Wirtzfeld these were the Koninklijke Deurne SK and the SC Caballos Zottegem . While Deurne achieved relegation, Zottegem must relegate together with the second team of KSK 47 Eynatten . Eynatten's second team took last place, but should have been relegated anyway, regardless of their performance, since only one team from a club has been allowed in the top Belgian division since the 2013/14 season.
For the reported team squads, see the team squad of the Interclubs 2012/13 .
Game dates
The competitions were played on September 23, October 7 and 21, November 18, December 2 and 16, 2012, January 13, February 3 and 17, March 3 and 24, 2013. The last round was played centrally in Wirtzfeld , the rest took place locally at the clubs involved.
mode
The twelve participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a team win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat) and then the number of board points (three points for a win, two points for a draw, one point for one loss, no point for a loss without a fight).
