International Alliance for Mountain Film
The International Alliance for Mountain Film is an association of mountain film festivals from all over the world. The association, based in Turin , was founded in 2000 at the Museo Nazionale della Montagna in Turin .
One of its goals is to educate audiences and filmmakers about film festivals around the world. In addition, the alliance serves as an information platform between the festival organizers about mountain films , program sequences, technologies, advertising measures, ticket sales and financing options.
The members meet twice a year at one of the member festivals.
