International Alexander Langer Prize
The International Alexander Langer Prize , named after Alexander Langer , has been awarded annually by the Alexander Langer Foundation ( Bozen , South Tyrol ) since 1997.
The prize is awarded to projects and people "who are able to show emblematic situations and new paths through courageous decisions, independent thinking and strong social involvement " .
The prize is endowed with 10,000 euros by the Südtiroler Sparkasse Foundation .
