The Internet Professionell was a trade journal with practical articles, tests and advice from the areas of web design , programming , server technology, IT security and e-commerce . Due to the lack of economic prospects, the new owner of the 3i magazine decided to discontinue it for the 6/2007 issue.
Topics and target group
Internet Professionell was aimed at web developers , web designers , IT administrators , business decision-makers and online shop operators with articles and tests . In the sections Design , Web Dev and Technology & Security, the editors presented scripts , tested the latest hardware and software and gave tips and tricks on all aspects of web development, providers and current trends on the Internet .
The topics of the magazine included PHP , CSS , JavaScript , usability ( usability ), web server , XML , Photoshop , RSS , online stores , Web hosting and ASP.NET , antispam software , content management systems (CMS), Web services , online legal and network hardware .

Internet Professionally appeared monthly in the publishing house VNU Business Publications Germany. Originally, the American publisher Ziff-Davis launched the predecessor magazine pl @ net in 1995 . The Internet lifestyle magazine based on the model of the American magazine Wired became Internet Professionell in 1997, which then focused on web development and technology instead of network culture . In 1999 the media group Ziff-Davis sold the publishing division, which also includes Internet Professionell, to the US investment house Willis Stein and Partners. In 2000 VNU Business Publications Germany took over the magazine in Munich. With the split of VNU into The Nielsen Company and VNU Business Media, VNU Germany was resold to 3i and then incorporated into a rescue company Volnay GmbH. This publishing house was closed at the end of June 2007 because no buyer could be found.
