Iraida Georgievna Petukhova

Iraida Georgijewna Petuchowa ( Russian Ираида Георгиевна Петухова ; born June 5, 1926 ; † 2018 ) was a Soviet - Russian architect .

Life

Petuchowa studied at the Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry (formerly Moscow Stroganov Academy of Art and Industry) with a degree in 1951.

After studying Petuchowa worked in the Moscow construction designing institute Metro project for the construction of the Moscow Metro (later Metrogiprotrans ). She planned the construction of Moscow metro stations . With Alexander Fyodorowitsch Strelkow and W. Katschurinez, she also designed the Chilonsor metro station of the Tashkent metro , which opened in 1977 . One of her younger colleagues was Nikolai Ivanovich Shumakov , who held her in high regard as an architect, sculptor and artist .

In 1991 Petuchowa retired.
