Irina Ivanovna Tarasova ( Russian Ирина Ивановна Тарасова , English transcription Irina Ivanovna Tarasova ; born April 15, 1987 in Kovrov ) is a Russian shot putter .
successes
Tarassowa was at the World Youth Championships 2003 in Sherbrooke and at the Junior World Championships 2004 in Grosseto each fifth in the shot put. At the Junior World Championships in Beijing in 2006 , she won the bronze medal. In 2007 Tarasova won the U23 European Championships in Debrecen and the Universiade in Bangkok . At the U23 European Championships in Kaunas in 2009 , she finished second, and eighth at the 2011 European Indoor Championships in Paris. At the World Indoor Championships in 2012 in Istanbul , Tarasova initially took eighth place and moved up to seventh place after the doping disqualification of Belarusian Nadseja Astaptschuk . In 2013, Tarasova first came fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg and later moved up to fourth place because of the subsequent disqualification of Yevgenia Kolodko .
