Irmgard Neumann
Irmgard Neumann (née Pulß ; born October 16, 1925 in Hamburg ; † February 22, 1989 in Niendorf, Teterow ) was a German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . She was a member of the State Council of the GDR .
Life
After finishing elementary school, Neumann worked as a housemaid. From 1949 she worked as a new farmer and later as a cooperative farmer and instructor in the LPG in Niendorf, Teterow district . In 1955 she became a member of the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DBD) and deputy chairwoman of the DBD district association Teterow. From 1958 to 1963 Neumann belonged to the Neubrandenburg district assembly , from 1960 to 1975 also to the presidium of the federal executive committee of the Democratic Women's Association of Germany . From September 1960 to November 1963 she was a member of the State Council of the GDR, from 1963 to 1977 a member of the party executive committee of the DBD.
