Irmi Eisenbarth

Irmi Eisenbarth (bourgeois Irmgard Eisenbarth , born November 29, 1981 in Munich ) is a German university professor . She works at the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Applied Sciences Munich in the field of gastronomy .

Irmi Eisenbarth comes from the Eisenbarth family of restaurateurs in Munich, which has been running the Guglhupf café near Marienplatz since 1977 . From 2001 to 2007 she studied in direct connection to the high school, which she at Munich Maximiliansgymnasium graduated, Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth . She then worked as a business consultant until 2010 .

2013 she was the Chair of International Management at the University of Bayreuth in Reinhard Meckl with a thesis on the optimization of economic transactions ( mergers and acquisitions ) for Dr. rer. pole. PhD. Until October 2016, she ran the Café Gummyhupf in Munich- Schwabing . In October 2016 she received a professorship at the Faculty of Tourism at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, where she deals with catering management and business start-ups .
