Isabel Durant (born December 20, 1993 ) is an Australian actress and dancer .

life and career

Isabel Durant was born on December 20th. She started dancing at the age of three and attended Loretto Kirribilli School. When she was 14 years old, she decided to take up acting in addition to dancing. After graduating from high school in 2010, she took part in the third season of the Australian talent show So You Think You Can Dance , finishing in 14th place. She was previously seen in a dance role in the feature film Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance .

The casting show made her known to a wider audience in Australia and got her first acting role the following year. In the youth series Dance Academy - Dance your dream! she impersonated in the second and third season the lead role Grace Whitney . This role made her internationally known. In 2013, she had next to her fellow actors from Dance Academy , Tom Green , Dena Kaplan , Tim Pocock and Jordan Rodrigues , a supporting role as Deanna in the NBC - TV series Camp held. In the same year she took a guest role in Reef Doctors .

In 2014 and 2015 she played the lead role of Ondina in the second and third seasons of the Australian youth series Mako - Simply Mermaid .
