Isabelle Allen

Isabelle Lucy Allen (born March 16, 2002 in Salisbury , Wiltshire , England ) is a British actress .

Life

Isabelle Allen is the daughter of Elaine and Nigel Allen.

Allen was discovered by Jeremy James Taylor, director of the British National Youth Music Theater , who saw her at a school performance of The Pied Piper of Hameln and was immediately enthusiastic about her talent. She made her film debut in 2012 in the musical adaptation of Les Misérables as the younger version of Amanda Seyfried's character Cosette . For this role she was honored as Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film at the Young Artist Awards 2013 - Ten Years or Younger and received further awards and nominations along with the film cast. She appeared in the West End production of Les Misérables until March 2013, also as a young Cosette . From July to September 2013 she took on the role of Brigitta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music .
