Isidore von Hoditz

Count Isidor von Hoditz (born October 7, 1713 in Roßwald ; † November 14, 1764 ) was a Prussian colonel and chief of Hussar Regiment No. 6 and heir of Füllstein and Ober-Paulwitz.

Life

origin

His parents were Count Carl Joseph von Hoditz and Wolframitz (1673-1741) and his wife Eleonore Barbara, née von Paczensky and Tenczin (1676-1725). Two brothers became clergymen, his brother Albert Joseph was a personal friend of Friedrich II.

Military career

Hoditz came to Prussia in 1741 as a cavalry master from the Austrian service and became a colonel. There he set up Hussar Regiment No. 6 , but was released again in 1743.

family

His first wife was Countess Antonia von Seidlitz and Gohlau .

He married Countess Maria Anna Cäcilia Vetter von der Lilie on December 2, 1743 (* 1716, † December 4, 1780). The couple had a daughter:

His brother Albert Joseph later inherited his property.
