Isidoro Sota García (born February 4, 1902 in Orizaba , Veracruz , † in Mexico City ) was a Mexican football player on the position of goalkeeper .

He was a member of the Mexican national soccer team and took part with it in the first soccer world championship in 1930 . There he was only used in the game against Chile.

Together with his brothers Ernesto and Jorge , Isidoro grew up in the tranquil industrial city of Orizaba before they all made careers at the capital club Club América . For the 1932/33 season, Isidoro Sota moved to CF Asturias .
