The Issledovateley Strait ( English , Russian Пролив Исследователей Proliw Issledowatelei , German 'Explorer Street' ) is a strait off the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It combines the Alaschejewbucht with Vozrozhdenija Bay and runs between the Myall Islands and Cape Gaudi .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1956 during a campaign by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and in 1957 during a Soviet Antarctic expedition . Russian scientists named them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this designation into English.
