The Gehron-See nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the town of Gransee and the municipality of Schönermark in the Oberhavel district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1166 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of December 6, 2002 . The approximately 213 hectare nature reserve with the Geronsee extends north of the core town of Gransee. The B 96 runs along the north and south and the L 22 road to the south .
