The Moncapricesee nature reserve is located in the municipality of Löwenberger Land in the Oberhavel district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1397 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of May 17, 1992 . The 113.6 hectare nature reserve with Lake Moncaprice extends east of Hoppenrade and west of Neuhäsen , both districts of the community of Löwenberger Land . The B 167 runs south of the area, while the Häsener Luch nature reserve extends to the northeast .
