Issouf Ouattara (born October 7, 1988 in Ouagadougou ) is a football player from the West African state of Burkina Faso .
The midfielder began his career with Étoile Filante Ouagadougou in the country's capital. He then moved to UD Leiria in Portugal, which played in the Segunda Liga . At the end of the 2008/09 season he rose with his team to the Primeira Liga . In the 2009/10 season he was mostly on the bench and only came on as a substitute. In the summer of 2010 he was loaned to second division CD Trofense for a season. There his situation did not improve. Ouattara was only used eight times in the 2010/11 season . After the loan he moved to Olympique Nîmes in the French third division . At the end of the 2011/12 season he rose with his team.
In the summer of 2012, the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorez signed Burgas Ouattara. In the 2012/13 season he was one of the regular members of the team. In the 2013/14 season he was hardly considered. In early 2014 he moved to Alakhdhar SC in Libya, later to league rival al-Nasr Benghazi . In the summer of 2015, the Cypriot first division team Ermis Aradippou signed him. He came on seven appearances as a substitute and dissolved his contract at the end of the year.
Ouattara was almost a year without a club before joining the Ivorian first division club ASEC Mimosas in November 2016 . There he was able to win the Ivorian championship in the 2016/17 season. He then moved to Wadi Degla SC in Egypt. At the beginning of 2018, league rival al-Masry signed him. He has been playing for al-Talaba SC in Iraq since mid-2018 .
Ouattara was part of the Burkinabe national team for the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola.
