István Palkovits (born December 27, 2000 ) is a Hungarian long-distance and obstacle runner .

Athletic career

István Palkovits gained his first international experience in 2018 when he finished 13th at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in the 10,000 meter run in 30: 35.87 minutes. The following year he finished fourth in the 5000 meter run at the U20 European Championships in Borås in 14: 06.90 min and then at the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon after 19:24 min he finished 24th in the U20 Rating.

In 2020 Palkovits became Hungarian champion in the obstacle course.
