The 2020/21 season of the Italian ice hockey championship will be the fourth under the name Italian Hockey League (IHL).
The top tier was the IHL Serie A with eight teams participating in the international Alps Hockey League at the same time . The actual Italian Hockey League comprised eleven clubs. The third level was formed by the Italian Hockey League Division I in two regional groups.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the FISG canceled the pre-season of the Italian Hockey League and Division I on March 9, 2020. For this season there was no champion in these leagues and no promoted and relegated teams.
