The Itkillik River is a 354 km long right tributary of the Colville River in northern Alaska .

Its source is near Oolah Pass in the Endicott Mountains , a mountain range of the Brooks Range , in the northeast of the Gates-of-the-Arctic National Park . It flows in a northerly direction through the North Slope and flows about 5 km south of Nuiqsut into the Colville River, whose delta to the Arctic Ocean begins to fan out immediately afterwards. In the North Slope plain, the Itkillik River is characterized by strong meanders . It is one of many rivers and streams that feed the Colville River from the Brooks range north of the continental divide .

In 1852, John Simpson documented the name of a large river that flows into the Colville River about 50 km from the mouth of the Colville River as "Itkalingkok" or "Indian River". In the records of a native of Barrow around 1900 the name "it-kil-lik" is used. "Itqiliq" means something like "Indian".
