Ivan Blecha

Ivan Blecha (born August 1, 1957 in Prague ) is a Czech philosopher and head of the Philosophy Institute at the Palacký University in Olomouc.

After attending grammar school in Schlackenwerth , he studied philosophy and history at the Charles University in Prague from 1976 to 1981 . After completing his studies, he first taught history and social studies in Zlín . In 1985 he obtained the degree of PhDr. and heads the philosophical institute in Olomouc , also gives numerous lectures. In 2004 Blecha was appointed professor of philosophy.

Works

The main focus of his interest is the critical interpretation of Husserl's phenomenology and examination of the views of Martin Heidegger , Eugen Fink and Jan Patočka .
