Iwan Andrejewitsch Anissimow ( Russian Иван Андреевич Анисимов , scientific transliteration Ivan Andreevič Anisimov ; born November 9, 1987 in Tchaikovsky , then Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Anissimow achieved his first top 5 result in the Eastern Europe Cup in February 2009 with fifth place in the Rybinsk sprint , and in November 2009 he achieved his first podium finish with third place in the Sprint in Vershina Tjoi . In February 2012 Anissimow made his debut in the cross-country skiing World Cup at the sprint in Moscow , where he finished 57th; His next World Cup appearance on February 1, 2013 in the Sochi sprint , he finished in 35th place and a week later came third in the Eastern Europe Cup sprint in Moscow. At the Eastern Europe Cup in Syktywkar in March 2013 Anissimow finished second in the sprint. He achieved further podium places in sprints in the Eastern Europe Cup in Syktywkar in February 2014 with second place, third in Vershina Tjoi in November 2014 and third in February 2015 in Rybinsk.
