Ivan Fjodorowitsch Perewersew ( Russian Иван Фёдорович Переверзев ; born September 3, 1914 in Kuzminsky , Russian Empire , † April 23, 1978 in Moscow , RSFSR , USSR ) was a Soviet actor .

Life and accomplishments

The farmer's son Pereversev completed an acting training until 1938 and then received an engagement at the Theater der Revolution . One of his most famous roles was that of Laertes in Shakespeare's Hamlet . At the same time he appeared as an extra in films, before listed roles followed from the 1940s. His filmography includes 88 works, including many period films . From 1945 he also appeared at the Theater of Cinema Actors , including in The Guiltless Guilty by Alexander Ostrowski .

Pereversev received a number of awards, including the titles of Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1951), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1966) and People's Artist of the USSR (March 28, 1975), the medal "For heroic work in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" ( 1946) and the Order of Honor (1950).
