Ivan Wladislaw (also written as Ivan Vladislav , Bulgarian Иван Владислав ; * ??; † 1018 near Durrës , today Albania ) was the penultimate tsar of the first Bulgarian empire from 1015 to 1018 . He came from the house of Komitopuli and was the son of Aaron, a brother of Tsar Samuil . From his marriage to the Boljar daughter Marija, Ivan Wladislaw had a total of 11 children, including Presian II - the last ruler of the first Bulgarian empire.
