János Marozsán ( Hungarian Marozsán János ; born May 13, 1965 in Újfehértó ) is a former Hungarian football player .

Career

society

Marozsán played in his youth for the Hajdú Vasas club from Téglás in eastern Hungary . Since 1984, the midfielder was in the squad of the first division Siófoki Bányász SE , for whom he made his professional debut on August 31, 1985 in the 1-0 defeat by Haladás Szombathely . After 25 goals in 115 first division games, Marozsán moved to Budapest Honvéd SE during the current 1990/91 season , which was renamed Kispest Honvéd FC in 1991; In a year and a half, the Hungarian has played 20 games in which he scored two goals. After winning the championship in 1991/92 Marozsán went back to Siófoki Bányász SE (one goal in 25 games) and finally in 1994 to the Budapesti Vasutas Sport Club , which he went to Pécsi Mecsek FC during the current 1995/96 season after 30 games without a goal left. After three games for Southwest Hungary, Marozsán played his last game in the Nemzeti Bajnokság on April 20, 1996 in a 2-1 win over Békéscsabai Előre FC . Within eleven years, the Hungarian scored a total of 28 goals in 193 top division games; from 1991 he can also show three games in the European Cup . In the summer of 1996 Marozsán moved to the German regional division 1. FC Saarbrücken . After 14 games without scoring in the first season at 1. FCS, the Hungarian was no longer used in the following season and ended his career.

National team

On September 5, 1990, the midfielder played his first international match for the Hungarian national team in a 4-1 win over Turkey . After less than seven months, he came on April 3, 1991 in the European Championship qualifier against Cyprus (2-0) for his fourth and last national team appearance.

János Marozsán settled in Saarbrücken after his career. He is the father of a son (* 1987) and a daughter, the national soccer player Dzsenifer Marozsán (* 1992).
