Jægerkorpset

The Jægerkorpset is the special unit of the Danish army . It was founded in 1961 for counter-terrorism and personal protection operations at home and abroad and is stationed at the Aalborg Air Force Base.

The unit consists of 70 to 80 men. In addition to its purely military use, it is also used for counter-terrorism measures in Denmark. The training was carried out directly by US rangers until 1982 . The aptitude test includes patrols , skydiving , climbing and combat swimming .
