The HK53 is a compact assault rifle ( carbine ) from Heckler & Koch in caliber 5.56 × 45 mm NATO . It is a variant of the HK33 , which belongs to the weapon family around the HK G3 .

technology

The HK53 is very similar to the MP5 , only the magazine and the magazine slot are larger because of the different caliber. The flash hider was also slightly changed.

Due to the combination of the compact format with the high penetration power of rifle ammunition, the weapon is used by many special forces in the army and police, such as the Mobile Security Division of the US State Department's security service.

There are currently only a few versions of the HK53. The current version is the HK53A3.

  • HK53A3 - retractable shoulder rest, types of fire: single fire, 3-shot burst, continuous fire, new handle with cartridge pictograms.
