Lists on the subject

The HK11 is a light machine gun from the German weapons manufacturer Heckler & Koch .

The HK11 was a modified HK21 with a magazine instead of a belt feed. The other technical data correspond to the HK21.

The weapon can be converted to the version of the HK 21 and then loaded using both magazines and belts (after installing a conversion kit) and has a stepped piston for better control when firing. The standard bipod is attached to the front end of the barrel jacket.

The version E (Export) has been produced since 1983, which can fire 3-shot bursts in addition to single and continuous fire. In addition, an additional handle for shooting in motion is fitted as standard on the barrel, whereby the barrel is completely encased up to the flash hider and is not exposed at the front as in the A1 version.
