Lists on the subject

technology

Impulse gas piston (schematic)

The HK433 is a shooting gas pressure loader with a pulse gas piston.

Unlike the G36, the upper part of the housing is made of high-strength aluminum .

The HK433, which is largely based on the G36 and HK416 , is intended to largely combine their advantages in one weapon. For example, a recoil spring construction similar to the G36 enables a folding stock that could not be realized with the HK416 - due to the design based on the AR-15 with the shoulder rest built on the recoil spring tube. In contrast to the G36, the weapon uses the STANAG magazines also used on the HK416 . In addition, the dust protection flap of the HK416 / AR-15 was dispensed with in favor of a construction similar to the G36 with a sleeve deflector.

The grip with fire selector switch is available in both the G36 and HK416 designs to enable easy conversion for as many potential customers as possible who have previously used one of these rifles.

The HK433 is designed with tube lengths of 280 mm (11 "), 318 mm (12.5"), 368 mm (14.5 "), 421 mm (16.5"), 480 mm (18.9 ") and 503 mm (20 ") will be available, and other calibers, possibly 7.62 × 51 mm NATO , 7.62 × 39 mm and .300 AAC Blackout , will also be offered in the future.

The housing has a long NATO rail on the top for mounting optics and accessories and another, shorter NATO rail on the underside of the handguard , and there are HKey interfaces on the sides of the handguard for the repeatable mounting of accessories.

In addition, a non-manipulable, wirelessly readable shot counter should be installed inside the weapon.
