Jérémie Papasergio

Jérémie Papasergio (born July 28, 1972 in Monaco ) is a bassoonist and dulcian player , mainly active in the field of historical performance practice .

Jérémie Papasergio began his musical training at the "Académie Prince Rainier II.", In the subjects of recorder and bassoon. He made further studies at the Paris Conservatory and at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon, in the class for baroque bassoon . His specializations include the game on rare instruments like the dulcian , the Serpent , the flageolet , the Krummhorn , the Bassanlli or français Cromorne , an oversized Bassoon which in the late 17th century, among others, in the "La Grande Ecurie du Roi" the brass band Louis XIV was in use.

Papasergio teaches at the CRR (Regional Conservatory) in Tours , he is dedicated to the research of old reed instruments from the Renaissance to the Classical period and is a member of several ensembles with which he has toured around the world, as well as made numerous recordings, for example with Doulce Memoire (Denis Raisin-Dadre ), La Petite Bande ( Sigiswald Kuijken ), Le Concert Spirituel ( Hervé Niquet ), La Fenice (Jean Tubéry), Ensemble Artarese ( Philippe Jaroussky ) or with the ensemble “Syntagma Musici” he founded.
