Jérôme Nday Kanyangu Lukundwe (* 1929 in Kabongo, Democratic Republic of the Congo ; † June 12, 2011 ) was Bishop of Congolo .

Life

Jérôme Nday Kanyangu Lukundwe was ordained a priest on August 27, 1962 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Kongolo diocese . Paul VI appointed him on January 16, 1971 Bishop of Kongolo.

The apostolic nuncio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo , Bruno Torpigliani , consecrated him as bishop on May 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Eugène Kabanga Songasonga , Archbishop of Lubumbashi , and Gustave Joseph Bouve CSSp , Bishop Emeritus of Kongolo.

On March 31, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
