Jóhann Ingi Gunnarsson
Jóhann Ingi Gunnarsson (born May 21, 1954 in Reykjavík ) is a former Icelandic handball coach and sports psychologist .
Life
Jóhann Ingi Gunnarsson coached the Icelandic national team from 1978 to 1980 . From 1982 to 1986 he trained the THW Kiel . Then he switched to league rivals TUSEM Essen . Gunnarsson is a qualified psychologist . He studied with Uwe Grau at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and is now a respected sports psychologist.
In 1986 Gunnarsson was voted handball coach of the year in Germany.
Gunnarsson is a co-owner of an import company that he owns with his siblings. He also works as a consultant for various companies.
