Jörg Deisinger
Jörg Deisinger (born April 23, 1966 in Nuremberg ) was the bassist of the German hard rock group Bonfire , with whom he recorded a total of four studio albums, including the gold- winning 1987 work Fireworks .
biography
Deisinger joined the band Cacumen in 1985 after a broken training course as an electrician , which shortly afterwards renamed itself to Bonfire at Deisinger's suggestion . By 1991 Deisinger recorded four albums with Bonfire, and he was also active with Axel Rudi Pell from 1989 to 1991. Fireworks , released in 1987 with Bonfire , became the band's most successful work to date and was awarded a gold record in Germany in 2003 . Deisinger left Bonfire at the end of July 1994.
In the following, Deisinger recorded two more albums with Sabu . In 1999 Deisinger founded the band Soul Doctor with singer Tommy Heart from Fair Warning , but left the project after recording two albums due to personal differences with Heart.
Deisinger moved to Thailand in 2004 , where he founded a language school for children in Amphoe Sichon and also remained active as a session musician . A last minute cancellation of a Christmas vacation on Ko Phi Phi Don meant for Deisinger that he was spared the devastating effects of the seaquake in the Indian Ocean - the booked resort was completely destroyed by the tsunami that triggered it.
In March 2005 Deisinger returned to Germany and since then has been running his own photo studio in Nuremberg .
