Fair warning
Fair Warning is a German hard rock band that was founded in Hanover in 1990.
history
The band was founded by Zeno - bass player Ule W. Ritgen and V2 singer Tommy Heart . The guitarists were Helge Engelke and Andy Malecek, the drummer CC Behrens . In 1991 they released their first album called Fair Warning on WEA Records . In Japan it was subsequently recognized by the readers of BURRN! elected newcomer of the year. After touring Europe with Giant , they also performed in Japan, resulting in the live album Live in Japan , released in 1993 . In 1995, the self-produced album Rainmaker came out, of which, according to Ritgen, "140,000 or 150,000" were sold in Japan and which was voted album of the year by Aardshok magazine in the Netherlands . This was followed by the live albums Live at Home (1995), the last album before they switched to Gun Records , and Live and More (1998), as well as the two studio albums Go! (1997), which sold 100,000 copies in three days in Japan, and Four (2000) before the band broke up.
In 2005 the band members got together without Andy Malecek to record a fifth studio album called Brother's Keeper , which was released on Frontiers in 2006 . Then in 2009 Aura came out on Metal Heaven .
